I spent some time with herself in Dublin recently, and amidst the flurry of hugs and "you look greats!" I mentioned that, on my way there, I realised it had been almost exactly 13 years since we first met. It was for an interview with a fashion magazine about YouTube and the beauty industry. "Oh god," she said, "I remember! I was probably still going on about the same thing I go on about now." And the truth is, she was - in a good way. She was just as passionate about makeup, formulas, and how makeup makes people feel then as she is today.
